About OMP Stud

OMP stud is based in the heart of Hampshire, in the South Downs, West Tisted. 

We are situated 9 miles from Alton and Petersfield, 12 miles from Winchester and 24 miles from Southampton, within easy reach of show centres such as Crofton, Parwood, Wellington, Sparsholt and Quob.

The yard has been designed by us and was newly built in 2013, enabling horse and rider dream facilities and comfort, within a friendly and professional environment. 

OMP stud has been established for the last 18 years and with the successful expansion of the stud in 2014 we moved to new premises with fantastic facilities to promote our main stallions and up and coming progeny. 

In 2006 Roquefort came to us from Holland where he had previously concentrated on his showjumping career, competing up to 1.40m. Following his arrival he has stood at stud with us and was graded with the BSPA and AES and achieved overall champion stallion at C.H.A.P.S grading, along with numerous wins of ridden and coloured championships at county level. He has also competed up to elementary level affiliated dressage making him a versatile and dual purpose stallion.
